Biography
Kyle Chamberlin is from Colonie, New York and is a recent graduate from the State University of New York at Potsdam. He graduated Magnum Cum Laude and received a College Honor Award for his contribution to the college through service, musicianship and leadership. While at Potsdam, Kyle attended the Crane School of Music where he received his bachelor's in Music Education with a concentration in clarinet. In College he was featured in in two United States World Premiers of Chamber Operas, Theresa e Gianfaldoni and The Electromagnetic Singing Lesson. In addition to performing Mr. Chamberlin is also a member of many professional organizations; Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, National Association for Music Education (NAfME), New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) and the International Clarinet Association (ICA), Another passion of Mr. Chamberlin's besides Music Education is coaching. He received his New York State Coaching Certification for sports K-12 in the Fall of 2014. He has coached the boys Modified soccer team in Potsdam New York and took on the La Salle Cadet team in the Fall of 2015. Kyle is currently the boys Modified Soccer Coach and Director of Bands at La Salle Institute in Troy, NY.
